Nothing beats seeing our seniors community come together like this. 🌸💚 A huge thank you to the incredible volunteers from @legrandna who joined our Seniors team to help bring our Spring Fair to life, setting up, preparing food, and serving our members with so much care and warmth. Our seniors got to enjoy a catered lunch, trivia, raffles, and most importantly, an afternoon surrounded by great people. Moments like these are everything. Thank you to everyone who made this day so special, our Seniors team, our members, and every volunteer who gave their time. We were so happy to welcome Craig and Dean from @checksoverstrikes to WSNCC over March Break to lead our all-girl Financial Literacy program and they absolutely delivered. 💸💚 Incredibly informative, genuinely engaging, and our youth had the best time. Applications are now open for the Nadine Pendleton Educational Bursary Fund! 🎓❤️ This bursary was created in memory of Nadine Pendleton, who gave over 40 years of dedicated service to WSNCC before passing away in 2015. Her legacy lives on through this fund — supporting members, volunteers, and staff in our community who are pursuing post-secondary education. Here’s what you need to know: 💰 Up to 3 bursaries valued at $5,000 each 📅 Applications open March 31, 2026 ⏰ Deadline to apply: May 22, 2026 To be eligible you must be a current member, volunteer, or staff of WSNCC pursuing post-secondary education. WSNCC operates on land that is the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. We acknowledge that Toronto is covered by Treaty 13 signed with the Mississaugas of the Credit, and the Williams Treaties signed with multiple Mississaugas and Chippewa bands. We also acknowledge all Treaty peoples – including those who came here as settlers – as migrants either in this generation or in generations past and those who came here involuntarily, particularly as a result of the trans-Atlantic slave trade.
