![At our Annual General Meeting and Volunteer Banquet last week, we were proud to present the 2025 Beacon Award to Donovan Minott. ❤️
The Beacon Award is our annual recognition for an outstanding volunteer or staff member who lights the way for others and demonstrates a profound dedication to this community. This year, there was no question about who deserved it.
For years, Donovan has served as our Toronto Youth Job Corps Coordinator, guiding and supporting countless youth in West Scarborough along the way. As he prepares to retire this year, many of the youth he’s walked alongside through TYJC have gone on to join our team at WSNCC. Some are still here today. That’s the kind of legacy that speaks for itself.
Donovan, thank you for everything you’ve done for West Scarborough. ?
