Our specialty programs for children offer a variety of engaging and skill-building activities. Kids can explore their creativity through music and art-based programs, develop essential life skills in our cooking class, and expand their knowledge with fun, interactive educational programs. These programs are designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and nurture growth in a supportive and fun environment.

  • Cooking Classes

    Children Ages 5-8

    BGC West Scarborough offers cooking programs for children in our community. Over the course of 10 weeks participants learn how to make various dishes from across the world!

  • Theatre Classes

    Theatre Class introduces children and youth to the fundamentals of performance in a fun and supportive environment. Participants explore acting, movement, voice, improvisation, and teamwork while building confidence and creativity. 


    Throughout the program, children and youth work together to prepare a final performance that brings their ideas to life on stage. Whether they’re new to acting or already love performing, this program gives everyone a chance to step into the spotlight.

  • Jr NBA

    Children Ages 4-8

    The 12–Session program allows young children with an interest in basketball to learn fundamental skills through fun, engaging, tailor-made games and activities. Participants also learn essential life skills including leadership, sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect.

  • Guitar Lessons

    Partnered Program

    Guitars Not Guns Canada has been rocking out with Toronto's at-risk youth since 2006! In just twelve fun-filled sessions, students get their own guitar, learn the basics, and show off their skills in a community concert. Best part? They keep the guitar and leave with boosted confidence and a sense of pride!

FOR YOUTH
